A quick side dish for curries or stews made in a pan? This naan bread.
Recipe – Naan
Amount: 4 pieces
Prep time: 10 minutes
60 g milk
50 g butter
200 g flour
1/2 Tsp baking powder
1/2 Tsp baking soda
1 Tsp salt
60 g plain yogurt
Heat up 50 g butter and 60 g milk (easier to measure than using another cup) in the microwave until the butter is melted.
In a mixing bowl mix together 200 g flour, 1/2 Tsp baking powder, 1/2 Tsp baking soda and 1 Tsp salt. Add 60 g plain yogurt and the butter-milk-mix to the flour. Knead to a smooth dough.
Heat up a bit of oil in a pan. Meanwhile separate the dough into 4 pieces and roll each into flat discs. Bake each naan bread one after another quickly in the hot pan, adding a bit more oil if necessary.
